Washington

HI BLOGGERS

On Thursday May 18, I went in the spectacular city of Washington DC. I have to say that it was one of the greatest experiences of my life. The Capitol Building, the Supreme Court, the White House, the National Library, the Abraham Lincoln and George Washington Memorials, the World War II and the Vietnam War memorials and the wonderful Air and Space Museum. I been in these places in one day and, at the end of the day I was so tired that I only could think about sleep.
We were together as a class (my partners, teachers and me) but I spend most the time with my compadre Slanking. Inside, on the Air and Space museum we found everything we wanted to see related with spaces journals and aviation. Watch lunar rocks and the Apollo 11 (the first space ship that went to the moon) was great but, been inside of a flight simulator was incredible. Slanking and I were together inside of a machine that simulate you are leading a combat airplane (F-18). At the beginning I didn’t know how to control the airplane (but it didn’t matter), I just started to turnaround as much as I could and Slanking was screaming so loud that people outside the machine thought I was killing him. All my blood came to my head, it was just exciting.
I feel a great respect for this country and for all the people living within. At the Lincoln and World War II memorials I realized who patriotic and respectful for their founders Americans are. People showed a lot of respect for these museums and memorials. However it was hard for me to see all these names and stars in memory of those whom lose their lives in the war, I realized that this country is forge by war. It is all for now, I going to write more about my trip to Washington and when I got the pictures I will put some in my Blog…. Peace.
